How do I gift a Claude subscription?

To gift Claude, you need an active Claude Pro or Max subscription of your own: go to claude.ai/gift, pick a plan and term, and pay by card. The recipient gets a redemption link they open in a browser and apply to their own account. No eligible card or subscription? A purchasing service like ours can buy the gift for you, paid in crypto.
Who can send a Claude gift?
Gifting is a perk of being a subscriber: only accounts with an active Pro or Max plan can buy gifts, paying with a card Anthropic accepts. Free, Team, and Enterprise accounts can’t. You can gift any plan — Pro, Max 5× or Max 20× — for 1, 3, 6 or 12 months, regardless of which plan you hold yourself.
What are the steps to gift someone Claude?
Open claude.ai/gift while signed in to your Pro or Max account.
Choose the plan (Pro, Max 5× or Max 20×) and the term (1, 3, 6 or 12 months), and pay with your card — one payment, no renewal.
Send the redemption link to your recipient. Anthropic can also email it for you.
The recipient opens the link in a web browser, signs in to their own Claude account, and the subscription starts immediately.
What rules should the recipient know?
- 365-day expiry: unredeemed gifts lapse a year after purchase.
- Web-only redemption: the link doesn’t work inside the iOS or Android app.
- Mobile subscriptions block redemption: an active App Store or Google Play Claude plan must lapse first.
- One at a time: gifts can’t be stacked; redeem the next when the current term ends.
- No auto-renew: the gifted term simply ends — no card on file, no surprise charge.

Who can send a Claude gift subscription?

What exactly does the recipient receive?
A redemption link — not a code, card, or account. They open it in a web browser, sign in to their own Claude account, and the subscription activates immediately for the gifted term. It never auto-renews.
How long does the recipient have to redeem?
A gift must be redeemed within 365 days of purchase. After redemption the subscription runs its full term. Only one gift can be redeemed at a time — they can’t be stacked in advance.
Why can’t my recipient redeem on their phone?
Redemption is web-only — it doesn’t work inside the iOS or Android app. And if they already have an active Claude subscription through the App Store or Google Play, redemption is blocked until that subscription lapses.
Can I gift a Claude subscription to myself?
